help identifying the soft start for angle grinder circuit main component number

soft start circuit for angle grinder.jpg if anyone knows this ic part number pls answer. this is a soft starter for angle grinder. it ramps the voltage from 1- 100 percent in about 4 seconds. the circuit is correct but the ic part number is missing.

That has all the appearances of a 12Fxxx Microchip, The μp is not going to do you much good without the source code.
The symbol is wrong for a Triac, it shows a SCR.

Too much noise for a uC, also micros will not handle ac on their input pins. More likely be a triac driver something like a 90805.

Not IMO, there are many applications where a Pic is used for Triac control with a 120hz ripple input directly to the Pic for zero cross detection, in fact I am working on such an application right now, based on both Picmicro app notes and other designs out there on the web.
Also that shows 5v supply to the IC, whereas the 90805 shows direct AC through a diode and resistor as it has an internal 15v zener, minimum operating voltage, 14vdc according to the spec sheet and shuts down if the IC does not see >13v internally.
.The pin out of the circuit in the OP certainly jives with a Pic.
