Hello,

No formal training in electronics to be honest, just a side hobby that has spilled into a career of fixing various electronically controlled things, from cars to industrial equipment, and everything in between.

More "mechanically" trained, (machinist, mechanical design), but I feel more comfortable with a multimeter in my hands then a wrench. LOL.

Recently got a couple of kids, but been itching to get back into electronics at home, no time for hobbies and downsized like many new dads, so ordered a work bench and will have it set back up in a couple of weeks.

Awesome! Just make sure you don't try to multimeter the kids or wrap a stinky nappy around your PSU and you'll be fine.

Electronics will be great to share with the "new" kids once they get older.

It's a bugger that, when someone gets you a couple of new kids for your birthday or passing your driving test or whatever! Lol :)
