Fuse Rating Inscription: is F2A 250v same With F2AL 250v?

Hi guys, I just Blew my guitar amplifer fuse..because it was a unit from the US and Accidentally got the wrong converter here in Shanghai. It so hard looking for a fuse that has the EXACT inscription 2A 250V...all I can find is 2AL 250 V...is this the same type? And do you think the power outage could do some damgae to the amplifier components even after blowing the fuse? I used some emergency fuse to test..so far its working and there are signs of life from this baby...any suggestions?perhaps Im jsut being too paranoid and OC?

It's the F or T that defines if the fuse is fast or slow. I've never found out what the L stands for though. For most practical purposes it won't matter much what you use.

Hi I just read the L stands for this Pigtail thing...some manufacturers Indicate L even when its just a normal metal cap..

Hmm, ok, maybe they mean that the fuse wire inside is pigtailed (coiled) up.. Some of those can be hard to see if they're blown or not. I'll try to look at an assortment.

i think the pig tail is..some wire coming out from the metal cap...and the coiled filament I think is slow blow..Im really confused actually..haha
