I have to develop some aplication for MB90F497 (Fujitsu)
can I do (cross)-compile this with avr-gcc.
Are ther somme other gcc for µCs?

Go to the gcc home page at http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/ and select
the link for "supported platforms."

I'm not familiar with the Fujitsu part but you may be able to tell if
there's a compatible instruction set among those listed.

Despite the "90" in it's name, it has nothing to do with the
AVR-architecture from Atmel :-(
