There has to be a really obvious reason I cant find these...

I am looking for Female to Female header strips.

I have DFRobot LCD display, that has a selection of pins on top that are male. Some of these pins I want to use, for example 5v pin, to power other components.

So if I have a male jumper cable and a male pin on the LCD PCB I cant get a good temporary connection....

So I would like a strip of female to female headers so I can temporarily connect to it. Otherwise I have to solder or start pulling the male pins out which just gets messy.

So is my googling not up to scratch or do they not exist?

Thanks

hi
welcome to the forums :)

I am looking for Female to Female header strips.

not sure what you mean by that ? do you mean female on both ends of a cable ?
as in a hard disc drive etc cable in a puter ?

those female headers come in all sizes

or do you mean a connector strip that has female on both sides ?
which seems kinda pointless as you would then be putting a male strip into it

you really just need a female strip to cable ... in which case you could try an old HDD ribbon cable and just trim the strip connector down to size for what you need...
if that works ... you could if you wanted to, then buy a small female conn.

That one - but I wouldn't put a strip of male into instead using jumper cables to select a few a pins.

Some thing like this:
here

But female both sides.

Suppose I could use an IDE but its a bit bulky.

EDIT: I'm stupid just found some female to male jumper cables here which is much better.

Sorry for the time wasting!
