It seems that Everett Audio Repair formerly located in Everett, WA has
either moved or is no longer in business. From what I understand, when
Carver split up years ago, some employees started this outfit to repair
older Carver amps.
At any rate, I have a 2.0t (same as 1250) Carver amp that I would like to
have converted to 230 volts. The folks at Everett Audio informed me years
ago that the cost just for the power supply was $296. They also admitted
that was a lot for a power supply. The folks at the 'new' Carver outfit
can not convert it as they do not have any of the older power supplies.
Any suggestions? I keep hoping that someone in Europe has a 230 version
they want to exchange with my 115 version.
