We'd like to announce CAP Tool, a powerful software tool that lets you easily create complex arbitrary waveform patterns. This hardware-independent tool for both benchtop AWG and ATE programming environments, supports varietyof formats, including C/C++ header files, Tcl files, Rigol .rdf files, .csv and clipboard to spreadsheet.

The "CAP" in CAP Tool - short for "Computed Analog Pattern" - refers to themathematical expressions used to define the arbitrary patterns. With an embedded compiler, CAP Tool supports standard math like trig, log and exponential functions and a suite of custom functions for generating squarewaves and simulated glitches.
