How big is this "engine only installer" ? if it is reasonable (like 1 or two
Mb) then email will be feasible for me.

The international version in its most compressed form is about 37Mb.. so I'm
not quite sure how to show you that.

Thanks

I have been actually using a friend with a broadband connection to do the
downloads for me.

He says he has downloaded the "engine only" and uploaded the int_version
driver successfully.

Let me know if you have not got it yet.

Cheers

So now I have all the stuff installed and connected, and the gol posts move
again!

When I tell the panel (Power 832) to "Initiate PC-Link" [499], the DLS
softwar responds with "Support for the panel that answered cannot be found
in this installation" As best I can tell, I have a PC5010 Version 2.0 which
is supported by DLS 2002.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Michael

installation?

Yep. I have installed the software twice... but I'll try again just to make
sure.

Re-installed again, with service packs 1 and 2, but to no avail.
All the panels are there when installing.

Any other ideas?
Thanks

Two files, engine and products, install engine first, then products.
When you install products, it prompts all files or selected files,
Is the 5010 v2 showing as a checked box?
If it is, I'm stumped.

Re-installed again, with service packs 1 and 2, but to no avail.
All the panels are there when installing.

Any other ideas?

Try not specifying the panel and use auto detect, see what happens.

Yep, got that right too.

Installed (a) the engine ony, then (b) the products (and then of course SP1
and SP2).

and the 5010 is showing. But nope, the same error message. Tried the
autodetect, but that is where the error started!

Any other ideas anyone?

Thanks
Michael

HA! Finally got it working.

Seems that I made a bad choice when installing the software... I chose the
wrong country.

It would seem that the option are then dependant on the country chosen! So
much for the global village I suppose.

Cheers
