Not knocking them, just giving background as to.how he might have something and I wouldn't have a clue what it is.

There's a lot of stuff but the things I am asking about are more like tools or test equipment than parts. First one- it says Portable Scaler Troxler Laboratories on top.

Olivia; You might consider selling some easy to ship items on eBay where the high bidder determines the price.

Btw, I appreciate your dads service to his country.

Thank you. He broke his leg while working for Bell South/AT&T and they were supposed to launch something on a certain date but the communication equipment wasn't working. He spent hours on the phone with his leg elevated and talked the technicians through it so that they were able to launch it on time. I only learned about it when I found several awards, letters ect in his house that all had "Beyond The Call". He was kind of known as 'the fix it guy'. He was a genius, but man did he have a lot of stuff, including a whole lot of electronics he intended to fix some day. He just had more projects than time. I'very been working on his house for three months, 7 days a week, and have barely gotten through half of it.

Almost everything you've posted has probably taken you a long time to do.
What I would do, is go through your inventory, and write down the following information on each instrument:
1) Name of the MANUFACTURER
2) The MODEL NUMBER of each instrument.
You can share the data with us if you want to for our input, or to ask questions about particular units, but the
manufacturer name and model number will be enough for us to search on the internet, without having to post
a picture of each item.
As suggested, you will be able to sell a lot of this by listing the items on eBay or Craigslist.
One other thing: You mentioned something about a possible XRay machine. I wouldn't plug that in, as if it
is defective or was partially disassembled, radiation emissions could be dangerous (disregard that if what you
thought was an XRay machine was the Oscilliscope somebody already ID'd for you here).
Don't be worried about asking us anything about what you're finding there, we'll be happy to help answer
questions about them.

I think I have other pics of the back of this one. Can I only upload one pix per post?

That is a microphone mixer. Shure is a good brand and someone might pay money for it. Find some musicians :)

You should be able to upload multiple pictures per post but if you keep uploading one at a time it's probably easier for us to reply about them.

2 different instruments.

Those appear to be radio shack brands. Probably not going to be worth much. The bottom one is for tweaking video signals. It may be of use to someone who is trying to capture old VHS tapes.

Not sure what the top one is. If RS stands for something other than radio shack it would be a good thing.

Pretty sure this is missing something.

Not sure what it is, but if you find a knob with a clear disk attached to it and having some sort of dial markings on it... It might belong to this.

Shure - classic audio mixer. Some audiophiles (spelled "crazies") still treasure them for their "sound". Worth something on ebay.

Radio Shack video color processor - used to clean up the ratty-looking video that came from older VCR's.

Each oscilloscope will have a manufacturer and model number on a sticker on the back. Again, worth something on ebay even if broken. Some people (including Jim Williams, one of the best-known tech writers of all time) love restoring old test equipment, especially scopes.

That is just so cool.

Would you send it to Australia? :-D

That would depend on what you would be willing to pay for it and if you paid the shipping.:) I've told my son that if it wouldn't sell for much money he could keep it, but since we have to do a few thousand dollars worth of renovations to this house just to be able to live in, we are going to sell the more valuable items we don't personally have a use for. Although, with Trump as our new president elect, there might be more use for this thing in the very near future.
