Hello,
I want to build a circuit that would supply a motor of the following type:

This is used to move a patient chair in a linear monition up or down.
These are the technical specifications:

Please what are your suggestions Do I have to use a circuit with a power supply, or I can use battery powered circuit for this load? What parts do you recommend to use? relays are suitable ?

You might also want to add a circuit to prevent sudden reversal of the motor.

Forgot: on the subject of power you could just use a simple step down transformer and a bridge rectifier, the ebay type controllers usually have any capacitors built in.
This is if the chair is used in just one permanent location.

Then a simple joystick would work, you need a reversing relay unless the J.S. has enough contacts.
