I'm all for making upkeep of the site easier for you.
I haven't seen any serious problems with anything you've done so far.
Thanks for the time you put into keeping us interconnected.

What I could do is make a 2nd user selectable style, so that members can choose between a fixed and fluid width design - would that help? :)

That would be interesting to see :)

yup, I like that .... Thanks Ian, appreciate all your efforts

Nice, not too far from the old layout.
I miss the PCB logo, however.

for some reason it looks chunkier but it also seems to take less space for headers and stuff.

looks positive so far.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm going to test out changing the delimiter colours in just a moment.

Nice, not too far from the old layout.
I miss the PCB logo, however.

How about now, does it look better? :D (You may need to press CTRL + F5 to refresh the CSS).

I've made a few tweaks to the design, which means that if you had chosen to use the "fluid" design, you'll need to select it again from the preferences page:

https://www.electronicspoint.com/account/preferences

There's also a "beta" option to pick slightly darker theme colours, if that is easier to read.

cant find anything referring to fluid design
still cannot get rid of the huge blank areas down each side

I tried the theme width option ( has default and full width) clicking on full width and saving
( even reloading page) didn't help, it just stayed at the narrow default

Sorry about that Dave, it should be the "theme width" option - I'll see why it's not working for you now :).

All fixed now :). Could you please try switching from "full width" to "default" and then back again please?

Took a look at the default and dark theme. I think I prefer the Default more, but like the dark theme.
The Theme Width options (Default | Full Width) . I prefer Default. The Full Width option is almost missing something...

The default settings are the ones that most people will see (and what I'd recommend using), but as I had a few requests I added those options for those that want them :).

LOL I'm the exact opposite ... default ( narrow) makes me feel like I am not getting full use out of the browser or my monitor

what's the point of having a 19" wide monitor if the www page is only using the centre 1/3 of the screen ?

All fixed now :). Could you please try switching from "full width" to "default" and then back again please?

wooohoooo :)
thanks Ian :)
