If i connect 400v film cap with 250v film cap in parallel what will be the effects..

And also tell please that; is 335J 250v cap is better or 135J 400v cap. Both are polypropleyne caps.

I am a noob in circuits. A detailed answer will be of great help to me. Thanks in advance.

If you connect two categories in parallel the total capacitance is the sum of the individual capacitances.

The voltage rating is that of the lowest rated capacitor.

As to which is "better", it depends on what you need the capacitor for.
