Caddx NX system in 50 HZ land

Does anyone know if the Caddx NX systems have any limitation as to the
power frequency? I'm looking at the NX-6 and can get appropriate
transformers here in Papua New Guinea (240 v 50 HZ). I've read of at
least one manufacture (DSC) that some of their control panels shut down
below 55 HZ. I'd hate to buy it if it won't work here.

Thanks.

All DSC panels are capable of being set for either 50 or 60 Hz.

It states in the installation manual under the heading of 'CE Declatation of
Conformity' subheading 'Electrical Requirements':
"This device automatically adjusts to voltages within the range of 230V
50/60 Hz. Fuse: Type T 200mA 250VAC."
I have not uesd it anywhere except in the US of A.

oops missed this part in the above reply.
"The following applies to products which have the CE mark attached"
I just looked at one purchased here in the US and it does not have the
CE mark.

Can these panels be purchased in AU by mere users? I'll be installing
mine in PNG. Any chance you know of someone who would sell me one? I
haven't located any one yet.

I keep hearing they do work, but maybe not the ones for sale in the US.
Thanks.

We use NX-16's in Australia and our frequency is 50Hz.
Not had any problems.

Paul.
