I have a little pitbike. Just wired a 12 v AC to D.C. Rectifier to the power output then to a wire harness connected to a light on the front. I also have a horn I want to add, but don't want o accidentally activate both on the off chance and stall my bike. Is here a way to wire my light switch to render the horn button useless when active?

Don't know the reason for rectifier but in answer to your query, perhaps just a simple changeover switch.

Maybe rectifier is needed because maybe the bike has an alternator and the light is an LED?

Maybe the light is a headlight and maybe the horn is DC.... maybe.. maybe

Why would blowing the horn while the headlight is on stall the bike? Btw, what's a Pit Bike?

I think the light is a high power searchlight and the horn is the high current one from a fire truck.
Then the engine has no spark when both are turned on. No battery?

Yes, use an SPDT momentary switch for the horn, and an SPST toggle switch for the light.

If you have the light switch off, the horn will operate normally. If you have the light switch on, pressing the horn button will turn off the light while pressed.

Whoops, I posted it three times and deleted the embedded image, but it guess that did not remove them entirely.
