Building a Fog Machine Remote Switch

Hello, I am trying to build a remote switch for a fog machine. the fog machie is a pretty simple machine it heats up sends a signal to the remote turning on a light when it is ready and you press a switch to shoot the fog.. I have determined that the three wires coming from the machine ( white, black, green) are labeled line, neutral and output . I just need to know how to wire the remote in the switch box from light to switch with those three wires.. any help is appreciated
