Hello Group,

I have just purchased a bridge rectifier MP256 (Rectron).
It flat with four pins one pin is next to a flattened corner which I presume
is the positive ac in.
Other than this I have no idea what the other pins are as they are not
marked.

Any help would be much appreciated.

TIA
Steve

I don't have a reference for that exact part number, but generally
speaking, a flat SIP bridge rectifier will have the two middle pins for the
AC input, the pin adjacent to the marked end (whether the marking be a dot,
a chamfer, or a flat) is the (+) output, and the other end is the (-)
output.

Cheers!!

Right column, near the bottom under, 25Amp/600V: 583-MP256
If I recall correctly the flat is the (+) pin. (-) is the pin diagonally
accross the square from the flat. The other two are the AC inputs.

All I did was Google: MP256 Rectron
