Hi all
I am doing my Master's thesis and I have to work directly with multipolar catheters, you can see an example of this in the image. These catheters are used for operations like flutter, SVT, CARTO VKF and LASER VKF.
The goal of the project is to connect these catheters to a PCB. The PCB witch we will design will contain analog switches to switch signals to different outputs. In order to do this, I need some information that I cannot find:
-What sort of connector is on these catheters?
-What kind of signals does a catheter produce (shape, magnitudes, current) and how does a catheter extract these signals from within the heart.
-What is the impedance of the catheter, is it possible to measure this?
The picture below is the male part of the connector.
