Hi,

I'm looking for information (preferably datasheets) for the two General
semiconductor devices: AY-1-5050P & AY-1-2020P.

I know the 5050 is a 7 stage counter but I have no idea what the 2020 is
and I haven't been able to find any reference to it. I was given the info
by a colleague who asked if I could help find datasheets for these devices.
Could there be a error in the part number? Is there a 2820, 2028, 2828 or
something similar that may have been misread as 2020?

Any information or a pointer in the direction would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Maybe those parts are in an electronic organ, so its possibly a
AY-1-0212, octave generator.

Good point. When GI split up one of the newly formed companies was GenSemi;
I managed to mix them up.
Excellent, thanks.

They are for an organ. When I passed the datasheets to my colleague (he
sends his appreciation) he told me the octave generator was not easily
accessible. He could only just make out the the part number using a dental
mirror so wasn't confident it was the right part. The 0212 performs exactly
the function that he was expecting it to perform so it is very likely the
correct part.

Thanks for taking the time to scan the datsheets.

Regards,
Simon.
