Hi there guys,
I have an armature from a hitachi drop saw that i would like to rewind

getting the data is impossible as the unit is covered in resin/varnish

its a 24 segment
12slot
1-6pitch

any ideas as to how the connection goes into segments from coils

any help/ schematics would be of great help

Thanks

Take it apart and study it. Possibly if it overheated the wire could still be good, and the solder joints gone bad. Big labor savings versus rewinding wire. I happen to have discovered this in a five pole DC motor that worked too hard for too long during the heat wave this summer. I don't really understand your language above as to what a segment is, but I'm guessing brush contact. Not sure why they would double, but typically its all one long wire passing up to the contacts and soldered there with a slight crimp. I'm not a motor expert but continue to learn that there is a lot more to motors in terms of design variations.
