These day's amplifiers have moved in to switch mode power supplys and there for large transformers are being faded out.

There are class d amps.. maybe at some point I my look in to up grading my old amp but till then, it still rattles the living.

That's some odd looking circuits laid out there...wonder how many times it faild before it worked??

Crown amps shut off there supply line to the amplifier rails mmm.

Wow such a great experience. I think I need to try making my own amp. I'll let you know then if it will be successful.

There's plenty of choice of what to build..

From 50w per channel to more high powered stuff.
