I was checking the simple 9 to 5 and 5 to 9 V logic converter ICs.
I came accross LM3478,3488,78s40 but there is circuit associated it. I want just one IC which will do it for me. It should have 10 channels. 10 inputs and 10 outputs. Intention is to convert 10 binary parallel word (0 to 5v) into similar word with 0 to 9V outputs.
This is done for standard ASK module(330MHz,430Mhz types). At 5V, the range is very short. So, we are improving range by upconverting the input voltages.

You don't want a DC-DC converter, you want a level shifter.

This is assuming that these are actually logic level signals, not power rails.

Here is something that may be worth reading.

To convert from 9V to 5V logic, a simple resistive divider is probably OK,

For 5V to 9V, the easiest way is to connect each signal to the base of an NPN transistor via a suitable resistor (say 10K) with the emitter connected to the common ground for both logic levels, and the collector connected to +9V via a suitable resistor (say 10K). The new logic signal will appear at the collector of the transistor. Note that this will invert the logic.

An alternative is to use a 40109. As a bonus, that chip can also do 9V to 5V as well. (see here)

Those chips do 4 signals, so you'll need three of them to do 10 channels.

An alternative is the 4504 that has 6 channels.
