My Sanyo AVM3257U stopped working. I have noticed a blown fuse(4 A, 125
V) and have replaced it, but it keeps blowing.

Any suggestion?

Thanks.

Get your DMM out and find out what is shorted within the tele. Could be in
the sandby power or even the defelction circuit. Don'i have a DMM then take
your set to the local repair facility and pay for an estimate.

Something is shorted, I don't want to sound like a prick, but if you have to
ask for suggestions to such a basic symptom then you probably shouldn't be
poking around inside a TV. At the very least read the FAQ associated with
this group to familiarize yourself with repair then come back and ask for
further help.

There is a bad short somewhere. Most likely some components in the
power supply, and or one of the scan circuits have gone bad. The short
can really be most anywhere.

It is very common that faults in the scan output stages, and in the
power supply cause this type of thing.

You will have to take the set in for proper troubleshooting, to have
it serviced.
