The American Shizuki Capacitors’ HCO/HCG single phase AC filter capacitors were designed specifically for AC harmonic filtering or power factor correction applications.

The capacitors feature two conductivity types that are meant to extend the life of the capacitor. With a capacitance range of 17.5 μF to 760 μF, these capacitors are engineered for input and output filtering in UPS, Motor Drives, LC/LCL Filtering, wind  solar power, and other power conversion uses.

They are designed with metalized polypropylene film to give the capacitors long life, low dielectric losses, low ESR and higher RMS current ratings.

Male-Female Terminals Feature Tin-Plated Brass

Both versions of the capacitor are covered in an aluminum casing, and the male terminals (M6 or M8) and female terminals (M5-M8) are both composed of a tin-plated brass.

These capacitors are also incorporated with internal UL recognized fusing mechanisms that interrupt when the pressure reaches a tested level.

High Current Oil-Filled (HCO) Capacitor

This version of the capacitor is filled with biodegradable vegetable-based oil and is mounted upright. The oil is meant to offer thermal conductivity to reduce internal heating.

High Current Gel-Filled (HCG) Capacitor

This version of the capacitor is filled with a soft gel and can be mounted in any position. The gel is also used to reduce internal heating.
