Hi Group,
I have one of the SLS2049S, did a search on the group and found that
this one has a really bad history of CRT, etc.
The unit appears to be going into shutdown on power-up, is there a way
to disconnect the CRT and power the set up and see if the audio comes
up?
Also, I been interested in TV tuners, I have seen alot of projects for
them, one project came from a web site where a computer parallel port
is used to clock in the data for the frequency and using a radio
scanner as an IF at 41 MHz, I could tune in various signals.
I have not opened up the 2049S, can anyone tell me about the TV tuner
and give me a pin out of the unit?
All of my tuners are digital, I understand that some tuners can be
frequency control with a analog voltage?
If the unit can not be easily fixed, what is the best method of
discarding the chassis once I remove the electronics?
