I'm working on a Zenith PVY5265DT projection TV (from 1997). It came
in with QX3502 shorted and an open fuse in the power supply. I
replaced the fuse, QX3502 and the HV splitter because it was drifting
out of focus. Everything seemed normal for several days of running it
all day. About a month later the set came back with the same problem.
QX3502 is part of the HV regulator circuit.
I know the later Zenith projections TVs are full of desing problems
and common failures. Has anyone seen anything like this before?
