If it,s height needs adjusting most probably
the set has developed a deflection fault.
Making an adjustment because of a fault is not
the correct approch.
How much is the height down top and bottom ?

John: all he is asking is "How To" Eh?? Figure that the simple answer may
apply without digressing into lacking definitive technical prowess on part
of the original poster. Since it is a GL/Zenith he is disturbed over, Eh.

I am only a beginner, but why does the height need to be adjusted? Has
the set been worked on, or did this gradually happen? Is the screen
short on top and bottom, or just on top? You can check the internet
for service mode/codes for your set. Chances are good you will find
it. You can access the horizontal and many other settings in this
mode. Be very careful, you can damage your set by changing the
preprogrammed info stored for some settings.

I don't think the set has been worked on the height is to tall at the
top and bottom, scrolling information at the bottom is off the screen
almost. The linearity looks
ok, I was interested in the service codes do you know what site you can
get them from short of buying a schematic.

Again the height control, vertical size, should be located on the main
circuit board of the tele, the service codes will not help you.
"menu9876enter" will not cure the problem.
