    May I have everyone's opinions on AutoTRAX EDA?

    Not anymore. Someone else "appropriated" the name for a
    different product.

    The developer (he's a one man band) got people to buy what was
    basically alpha code and got them to help him to debug it. It's over
    three years since it was launched, and it's still got serious bugs.
    Some people claim to be using it for serious work, but I haven't seen a
    single example of a moderately complex board produced with it. I have a
    play with the latest demo every now and then, but can't see any reason
    to switch to it from Pulsonix.

    Bob Barnes of RCS has been
    around pcb CAD stuff for 30 odd years and here is what he says about
    Autotrax EDA. He still sticks to the old DOS Protel Easytrax/Autotrax
    simply because it works... As does Airborn Electronics

    "I have just seen a windozzz version called AutoTRAXEDA, and it is
    simply NOT very good for 'old experienced'hands and it is NOT
    compatible with the common Protel, International Standard, way of
    doing things, so in short, give it a miss, as it is NOT
