I'm looking for ancient STATIC RAM test devices. Might have been made
by BUGTRAP back in the 70's or early 80's.. This is for testing
devices like 2114's, 5101, and others. NOT DYNAMIC (I have one of
those testers).

Thanks!

Hi!
With my hilosystems ALL03 I can test SRAM
6116, 6264; 62256, 2114/5114/9114, QS8888, P4C187, 2147A/2147H, 2149H,
584000 (4M RAM), W24512 (512K RAM), 6208/6708 (64Kx4), CY7C199
1/write data 55AA
2/write data AA55
3/write random
4/ write 1+2+3
you can build your own (same diagram as expro80) and also write
your own software see my resources page

Hi John!

I've got plenty of those, you have too - I guarantee it.

They're called.....

Atari PCBs :)

Yours, Mark.

Well, yes, but they aren't handy for simply plugging in RAM and
running a speed test to see if it is working at it's rated speed. I
have many boards that can use slow RAM but not the faster ones and it
sometimes takes a while to test them all...hence the desire for a
Static RAM tester.

I have a lovely one made by Bugtrap that checks Dynamic RAM and does
speed tests on them - I thought of modifying it to do the job but with
no schematics and the thing is all TTL logic....painful for me! Need a
simple design...stand-alone...simple cheap LCD display and a couple of
buttons to select device/speed. I've also got the Innovations RAMCHECK
but it doesn't handle my ancient chips...

Hi!

Yeah, I know they're not going to give you all the data on the chip, but
they are sure useful for telling if one has fried or not!

I see where you're coming from tho....

Yours, Mark.
