Would variations in weather temperature shorten life of LED bulb?

I was considering replacing the bulb in my mother's outdoor lantern with an LED one. Will the driver circuitry in the base of the lamp be adversely affected by the yearly variations in temperature (country is United Kingdom)? I'm not sure what kinds of components are usually found in the base of LED bulbs.

I think there is much more variation in LED light bulb designs than ordinary ambient temperature changes.
An LED bulb designed "over there" to be cheaper than is possible will fail soon even if its ambient temperature does not change.

An LED light bulb made by a name-brand company will be designed properly and will last for many years.

EDIT: I was going to say that anything made by a name-brand company .... but Consumer Reports magazine said some name-brand cars should be avoided: Fiat-Chrysler and Ford.
