I purchased a 3 position rotary switch thinking it had a common terminal, and would power pins 1, 2, or 3, depending on the position. As it turns out, the switch instead connects pins 0 and 1 in position 1, 1 and 2 in position 2, and 2 and 3 in position 3.

Is there any way to wire this so that it behaves like a switch with a common terminal?

No. Sounds more like a slide switch.

Yep. That's what it is. There's no way to get the behavior I want then? That's too bad. Thanks for answering.
