Wiring 9W UV Bulbs

Hi all,

I am building a UV curing station to release UV-sensitive tape. I am going to use 18x 9W, 365 nm bulbs with G23 sockets.

I've never wired anything like this before. Can anyone suggest a ballast or combination of ballasts for me to use? I'd rather not have to use an individual 9W ballast for each bulb. Thanks.

If using the low loss iron core type balast you will need one for each pl lamp.
There are some electronic balasts around which will accomodate 2 lamps but I have no reference to a supplier.
Alternative would be perhaps to use LED type replacement lamps (if available in UV....they are for standard lamps).
That way no balast required.
