Thank you for the information. I tried a search on this site but it only
came up with two airworthiness docs which contain a change from a WW to
a soldered mother board for the spoiler control module. This is one of them:

The documents don't say anything about the reason though. I am not sure
whether they scanned in older reports like electronics manufacturers did
with datasheet of vintage CMOS chips that are still being produced.
