Wire antenna ripped out of remote control

The wire antennae for my son's remote controlled truck was ripped out today. I took apart the controller and I could not determine where the wire was attached at in the first place. The range of the controller has been significantly reduced, so it seems that it was definitely attached to something and not just cosmetic.

I am thinking it was perhaps soldered into the big glob at R12 and R13 on the right side of the board.

Any ideas?

Most likely it was connected to one of the three pads located near L4, one of which is labeled ANT.
Can you post a photo of the other side of the board showing this area?

I think your right Hop. If you look at one of the connections it looks like it might of had a wire connected to it at some point. It also looks like it is inline with where the antenna would exit the handset.
