Wind energie and snow?

I live in an area with very low winds for the year except winter mths. I
also live in Canada and don't like to shovel.

What I want to do is simply build a wind gene and hook it to those heat
wires ppl but on their roof to prevent ice dams on the roof.

Was wondering if I install the heat wires under the driveway by a few inches
and hook it up to the gene. What till I need for it to all connect
together? and will it work?
Thanks in advance.

Last heated drive way I did was a loading dock for a hospital, 60 amps at
480v is what was needed for the double truck wide space.

Most wind machines I see are less than a 1000 watts.
