Why are WebCams so poor?

    what these little digital cameras can do these days.

    You're retarded. You don't even know what depth of field is. The
    label at the BOTTOM of the picture is out of focus, and it is only a
    couple inches further from the lens than the top, which is in focus.

    Try again, dingledorf.

    Someone on another newsgroup was foaming at the mouth about
    "excessive color fringing" in that photo, but I don't see it.

  6. This is the camera I used. The photo was taken at 4" from the bottom
    of the hard drive.

  7. I wouldn't call it excessive, but there is what I think of as about the
    usual amount for a small digital camera. If you *want* to see it, look
    at the white screwhole in the top left of the picture; at full
    resolution, you can see some purple on the left side where there should
    be black.
