Where to start?

Hi All,

I'm a total noob when it comes to alarm systems. I'd like to install a
basic system around my home. Could you please suggest a website where I can
learn about my options and the *things* I should consider?

Well Im new at this too, except for a old DCS 1500 Im not using, but I
received my new Visonic Powemax + yesterday.

So far so good. For a noob I have managed to figure it out. I want
talk about the dumb things I did.

Anyway I ordered 8 more MCT302's from www.homesecuritystore.com last
night and WHEW. These things add up, even though they were the
cheapest I could find.

Wireless definatly costs more. So much stuff you can add to this
thing.
