    Yeah, thanks, I already know that. -_- I'm asking where you can find them WITHOUT buying high end mice. Not spending that much on a silly mouse.

    Have you tried places like digikey and tried searching for "optical sensor"?

    As to whether they're mouse compatible, I'm not sure how you'd determine that.

    You can find a high DPI off brand mouse for like 10-20 bucks (see here), getting one high DPI sensor will probably cost you about that anyways
