Where to buy (low cost) electronic components?

It's been a while (80's/90's) since I was active building stuff and would like to know where I can order common electronic components from without paying too much? (this includes shipping as some dealers clearly overcharge or offer only courier services).
I'm located in Norway, but I don't mind where I order from if the price is right.

I use Ebay (via China, Hong Kong).
Very cheap, but sometimes 10 to 15 (or longer) days delivery.
I don't mind the wait, I order quantities of components. So once you have the first delivery, it's easy to keep stock.
