Can someone help me with getting good with electronics? What are some good websites or books?
You might start on these sites: http://www.rangeraudio.com/electron.htm http://www.ibiblio.org/obp/electricCircuits/
Also http://www.electronicsforu.com/electronicsforu/lab/ http://commlinx.com.au/schematics.htm for some projects and schematics to learn how things work
I'd reccomend the book "Getting Started in Electronics" by Forest M. Mims III. It was origionally published by Radio Shack, but I think they've discontinued it. You may be able to find a copy online somewhere or at your local library. A couple of good sites are www.epanorama.net, and discovercircuits.com. Both are packed with tons of information. Starting here in newgroups is a good place as well. Regards, Chris -- Christopher M. Hobbs Online at: http://hobbsc.freeshell.org Via Email: hobbsc[at]sdf.lonestar.org Christopher M. Good suggestions. If you have a specific question, post it here, or go to http://pub99.ezboard.com/bdefcon9 Your public library should also have some material. <als>
