Where can I get a 1/4 inch think 6 inch diameter clear plexiglass sphere built?
It doesn't have to be one single sphere, two half spheres that be screwed togather will work also
as long as it is air tight.

BG Micro has some acrylic "virtually indestructible" hemispheres with
lips in their catalog. Don't give thickness.

Great concept and bound to be a money maker for them.

Some problems - their suggestion box returns a 404 site not found
message.

Their software, even when set to not check prices and updates, insists
on trying to phone home whenever the software is run. I had to set
three rules in the firewall just to stop that annoying behavior.

They are first with a great idea - but they can't compete with a
half-way decent local machine shop, in my opinion.
