where can i find schematic designs?

    Hello..

    I was wondring , if anyone knows where i can find schamatic designs for
    electronic devices such as DVD player , MP3 player Stereo System and so on
    ...

    I kind interested to find latest designs , so i can put together home
    entertainment as a hubby and a project..

    I doubt that you will get schematics of DVD players and if you do,
    building one is FAR from trivial (assuming that you can even get the
    parts and have extensive expertise in high speed signal processing,
    optics, servo systems and LASERs!) To get an idea of how they operate,
    look at the ECMA specifications for optical storage:

    Schematics are available at www.schematicsforfree.mattsoft.net of some of
    these devices.

    The special ICs you need to make a DVD player - Unobtainable in small
    quantities except as a repair part. And the parts would cost 10 times the
    cost of just buying one.

    Build a DVD player. Try something easier like a perpetual motion machne.
