What's wrong with circuit?

The point I was trying to make is your in house tests appear to be done on a power circuit ie always on...... Your remote light as far as I can make out, is off , and the unit relies on power on.

Yes, I'm working with power applied (120v) or the oscillator circuit in the transmitter wouldn't be working.
At the end of my driveway I have a light and a receptacle outlet.

I'm disappointed that this circuit isn't easily modified to make it work over longer distances.
It looks like I'm back to square one.
