What size/kind of wire would be best for this?

    Hi - what size/type of wire do you think would be best for soldering onto
    surface mount parts as shown in the picture posted in the thread with the
    same title in alt.binaries.schematics.electronic? I was thinking that some
    stranded 24 gauge or higher (smalle diameter) wire would be good. What do
    you think? Thanks!

    30 AWG wire-wrap wire is usually used for this sort of thing.

    The usual Kynar insulation is quite heat resistant.
