Good evening from Korea,

Here are some concepts about my IOT device (wrist bend) im planing to build
please check the requirements below,

- Sensor that is sensible enough to read a hearbeat by carotid(wrist)

- Sensor need to read the speed of heart beat (as a X axis)

- Sensor need to read the intensity of hear beat (as a Y axis)

So with the information above.
device can indicate the emotion of person,

thanks for all your time.
have a great week,

Jimmy,

I don't think there is an unambiguous direct correlation between emotion and heart beat rate or frequency. For example, strenuous exercise increases heart rate, but whereas that might be exhilarating for one person it could cause suffering in another person. The intensity measurement would be unreliable, since it would be affected by body movement and by the efficiency of coupling between the sensor and the person.

It sure is a risk to define humans emotional status only reliying on the data of the heart beats (speed and intensity)
Also the pain/exersise might inturrupt the wanted data,

Still havnt made my medical reseacrh enough for the project,
So currently I can not counter your objection entirely.

But to objection "confusing data of pain/exersise" can be controversial
using temperature sensor.

still looking up things in google, asking people aroud me,
and wisdom from electronicspoint

trying to find which sensor Xp I can use this for the device...

thank you

Jimmy

there's plenty of sports wrist watches these days with heart monitors ... do some research along those lines

device can indicate the emotion of person,

as said in your other thread and Alec has again repeated ... that's not going to happen yet

Ive been using wrist bends startinf from mibend, to Iwatch, but since feature didnt go as further as finding human emotion, when medical research can monitor the heart beat as emotion.

There were also some concepts of youtube showing interest by what youve watched,

My concept isnt that complicating as technology always did I want to make it happen and explore things step by step,

It wont happen yet, but using heart beat I can assure will be viral, since we are running out of source to get closed to the devices,

Thanks for your encouragement daven,

Jimmy,

The carotid artery is in your neck. You probably mean the radial artery.
