Any proper repairer would know that just because something has obviously
failed , then its failure can easily be colateral damage from the unseen
    failure of something else

    ps
I had a second cousin expire in 1968 , a Ken Portwine, basically due to a
lack of medical expertise on Antartica.

Sorry to say but most of them who calls themselves repairmen are only
    simple module swappers.
Present them with a real fault on something, ie a failure in the chassis
wiring or anything like that and many will fold :-(

I can add what i happening in the car mechanics sector:
'Sorry to say sir, but my computer does not indicate that you have a
boiling engine so just start and drive on.'

This is from the real world :-(

But hey, there really are some great repair guys out there who actually
know how to FIND a fault.
    ;-)
