I have a box of these (50+), found in my dad's garage-
    What are they?
What do I do with them?
    Any usefulness or value?
Thanks for your help-I'm not an electronics person, but my dad used this website.

To add to the other questions:
What are they: As above Am radio ferrite rod antennas
People can use one to make an AM radio. Usually starter kitset stuff. Experimenter. One is usually enough. :)
Use: electronics, fun, experiments, experience. First radio project.
    Value:
Local retail supplier shows inferior product for $4. Aliexpress, probably <$1
A box of 50? Limited market.
Might be able to give them to an electronics club.

Were there other components in 50s. LIke little things with a place to put a knob/handle that turn with visible flat vanes with little sheets of plastic between them? That would be the other main component. :)

Thank you very much- I will look into donating them.
I haven't found components like you have described, but will keep my eyes out. I'm not at the end of exploring boxes yet.
    I appreciate your help.

The device on the top looks to be a US Quarter. If you have 50 of these, the value is nominally $12.50.
