    What is the impedance of a series RC circuit that consists of a 0.22 [​IMG]F capacitor and a 200-ohm resistor connected to a 3 kHz source?
    I find out Xc=241.26. I added it to 200. I get 441.26 as the answer. But answer given is 313.

    The impedance is complex and is linked to the longest part of a right angle triangle. Can you work it out now.
