I don't sell many of the Napco 4 button remotes, but I do have one setup for
one of the test/training system in my office. I keep the remote on my
keychain for realistic demo operation when a client is interested.
Anyway, I went for a wade in the river saturday to straighten my boat on the
trailer when we were pulling out after a bass tournament, and of course I
forgot to take everything out of my pockets.
The stuff in my wallet was no big deal. Some gas station stamps got stuck
to one of my credit cards, but otherwise no problem. In my other pocket was
my keyring along with the remote. Of course it hasn't worked all week. I
decided to open it up and see what batteries it takes. They are friggin
spot welded in place. NOT REPLACABLE. My question then is, "what is the
battery life of this remote?"
I can't very in good faith sell an expensive remote to a customer knowing it
will die and have to be replaced in a short time.
