Okay..
SMPS Controller
Comparitor

If the comparitor voltage ref is showing 0v then does that mean that I have
a problem leading up to the comparitor, or does that mean that the chip
itself isnt generating the voltage.

The reason that I ask (this is in a psu supply) is cause the output amps are
not being driven on, this is cause the chip doesnt push an active low to
change the gate voltage, but it does give a high voltage out (so that part
of the chip is working)..

This made me go back to the comparitor.. So do the chip (normally) generate
their own voltage or is this something that's supplied by the circut.

My assumption (probably wrong knowing me) is that the chip generates its own
voltage to do the comparisons with but this is kinda odd too cause the only
other place where the base voltage could come from is the 3.3v line (but of
course that's off)..

Sorry if this is a bit too basic for some of you
thanks for your help
Jon
