what exactly is a flux capacitor,
and why does my watch run backward when I reverse the magitic field?

It is a tool that WE use to flush out utter idiots. It currently
indicates that you made the list.

especially when it contains 1.21 GigaWatts of power. MARTY, do you know what
that means? Loved the "back to the future" movies.

So then you can realign the field coils.

  7. Are you saying that he is a highly technical dumbass, or that the
detector is highly technical, and detects dumbasses? :)

Why would it only be 1.21 GigaWatts? If it's a 1 farad cap charged to
2 volts, discharging into a nanaohm resistance, wouldn't it be more
    than that?

    Prove it !

    P = E^2 / R = 4 / 1 E-9 = 4 GigaWatts. E=2 and R = 1 nanaohm.

    Don't you mean JigaWatts!!!!

  12. You might need an Interociter to compute the number.

  13. Well, I wouldn't want to buy one if it only detected one type of

If you were a sales person, that would be followed by "dumbass'.

First have to see some dumbass who has one before he even tries to use
it and set it off. ;-P

One place I worked at we had a QA / Regualtory manager that insisted on
coming to engineeing meetings & "participating".

We were having some problems with on of our products, he asked me to
explain. I told him it was all to do with the flux capacitor & spend a
few minutes crapping on. If some dicks hadn't laughed we would have got
out of the meeting earlier & our QA guy would have been none the wiser.

One of the best compliments I ever had was intended as a criticism:

"We can't see that you've replaced anything".

Do you really believe in a seriously subnanohm ESR, switch or conductor of
    useful (25 mm minimum) length?

What about the EMP it generates.
